Marlins has a separate English test for marine hotel personnel: guest services, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, galley, shops, spa, entertainment. It is taken on a computer, has 50 questions and a recommended time of 30 minutes, and the result is a percentage. It is not the 85-question test for deck and engine crew, and it has no “different sounds” section — if a page tells you to prepare 85 questions in 60 minutes for a cruise job, it is describing the other test.
